So sorry to hear about your brother's untimely death. If he has a son that would be about 8 or 9 now, I met him in July of 2014 at Newell on his way back to Phoenix. The coach is #606, the next to the last 2001 built and likely the first Newell built with a front entry. It was built for Jacques Villeneuve. Looks like he was replacing the 120 volt AC air compressor. The third photo is the one of the basement air conditioners which has been removed from the bay with the plywood covering on it. If the engine air compressor is working properly and all the slides are in and locked, it should be able to be driven without the air compressor and air conditioner being installed assuming the air line from the air compressor has been capped off.
