i decided how i am mounting it. the wall is pretty flimsy and the inverter is very heavy. so, i cut a 16x16 piece of 3/4 plywood. i went to the metal supply shop and got some scrap 1/8 aluminum diamondplate that they sell for 3 bucks a pound and had them cut it on their shear to the same size as the plywood. got some 1/4-20 t nuts and will drill the holes in the plywood and diamondplate and screw it to the wall with a zillion screws, then mount the inverter on the plate using bolts into the tnuts.
i am mounting the shunt in the battery compartment and making a couple of new 4/0 cables for it. i have a hydraulic cable crimper that works up to a couple of sizes past 4/0. i am mounting the battery monitor module in the aquahot bay to make it easy to see. then run new cable to the inverter from it through the bays.
last i have to make a new adapter plate for the control panel as it is a different size than the prosine one.
