I found one valve in the middle (large) bay but not sure which side to plumb to... attaching a picture of the valve I found - I am guessing that I would need to plumb into the open hole/female fitting in the solenoid?

You can order any DOT fitting from McMaster Carr. You will have to figure out the sizes you need.

Thanks Richard!  Do I really need a DOT valve just to suck 20lbs of pressure out?  Once the solenoid closes it would shut off the air supply right?  I may have to get a temporary fitting from a hardware store for now...
