You might try turning water all the way hot and then all the way cold to see if there is a difference. If the cold water is better, then a hot water tempering valve may be the culprit. That is what happened to me! Mine was located near the aquahot unit (not sure if you have that type of hot water).

ps. the hot / cold test will also help identify a kinked water line.
