I have been using Blue Ox tow bars for the last 16 years. I have found them to be one of the best T/B. I have had all three model of the 10K units. I have always pull at least 6K pounds. I have had some problems but Blue Ox has alway handle the situation. I would definitely used the blue ox. I have a new Blue Ox BX7420 Avail Towbar which I have just purchase to replace my Blue Ox BX7445 Tow Bar Aventa LX Class IV 10000 lb. Rated Ball Swivel  which I would sell for $450. This bar is about 2 years old. I  would sell the new one Blue Ox BX7420 Avail Class IV 10,000 Lb Tow Bar with Safety Cables which has never been been open for $900. I am now pulling a car trailer.
