Were it me, I would try to get the 305/75 on order and just drive a little slower for the next couple of months. I ran mine on the 11R24.5 H front tires for the first year until I became aware of the 305/75.
I think you are right, might be okay on a good road, with no bumps. Doing more research, find the 12r's are on/off road tires so ride is probably not the best anyway. Will try to order the 305's.
