Just completed a trip to the west side of Florida and added a few campgrounds:
Mississippi-Robinsonville-Sam's Town RV Park Easy in and out pull thrus. Paved roads, concrete sites, table & BBQ and good utilities. This park is next to the Sam's Town casino.
Florida-Milton-Avalon Landing RV Park This park is located just east of Pensacola and just south of I-10. Paved roads, gravel pull thrus, table & good utilities. Good overnight spot IF they have any pull thrus available.
Florida-Seffner-LazyDays RV Resort This park is located off I-4 just east of Tampa. Paved, wide roads and paved sites. All sites are back ins. Table & good hookups at each site. Very nice pool area, on site restaurant & rv store.
Florida-Williston-Williston Crossing RV Resort Park is a destination park. Paved roads, paved sites, some back ins & some pull thrus. Nicely landscaped! Reservations suggested.
Florida-Fort Myers Beach-Gulf Waters RV Resort Park has paved roads, Concrete and paver sites, table and good utilities. Nice landscaping and pool area. Convenient location for exploring Sanibel & Captiva Islands.
Florida-Naples
Naples Motorcoach Resort First class destination park! Professionally run. Beautiful grounds include a lake, large clubhouse, infinity pool & exercise room. Roads are paved and sites are concrete. They have pull ins(lakefront), pull thrus and back ins. There is a boat launch which gives access to the Gulf of Mexico.
Naples-Pelican Lake Motorcoach Resort- First class destination park. Roads are paved and sites are any thing from stamped concrete to pavers or combination. Landscaping is that of a tropical paradise. Lake front sites are pull ins and others are back ins. Most sites have small coach houses on them.
Florida-Lake Buena Vista-Fort Wilderness RV Resort Resort is a Disney World property. The setting makes you feel you are in a remote wilderness. Full destination park with pool areas, on site restaurants and entertainment. Sites are set up in circular loops. Roads and sites are paved. All back ins. Good utilities and a table. Only complaint is some overgrown vegetation extends into roadways. All Disney World transportation is provided by either boat or bus. No need for tow vehicle if you stay on Disney property. Reservations required.
