First of all, I would never get 8 MPG traveling in Canada and Montana, not even on a straight highway, and more like 6.5 pulling a car at 65 MPH. Since May to date, I have averaged 6.4 MPG based on the engine computer which includes idle time resulting in an average speed of 45.9 MPH. I run with Silverleaf connected to my engine computer and it repeatedly verifies the tank capacity of 286 gallons within a few gallons one way or the other.
