I called Newell last week and requested any info they had on my coach. To be honest i was hoping more for maintenance records. Here is what they sent me. I got the original build sheet and a floorplan blueprint that never ever made it to this coach. One of the change orders however changes the coach number from 436 to 435, so I'm guessing this blueprint is for the first Newell with slide outs. Its really the only way i can see having 6 twin beds in a coach.
Thanks for the blueprint and the build sheet for 435. 435 is a non slide coach while I understand that 436 ended up being the 1st slide coach built by Newell but the floorplan you included is definitely a non-slide coach. The floorplan indicates the coach originally had twin beds in the bedroom with an overhead bunk above each, and 2 more overhead bunks in the salon. I have a couple of interior photos of 435 from ten years ago that do not show any overhead bunks remained at that time. In the photos, it appears that an east-west bed had replaced the original twin beds shown on the floorplan. I have never seen any photos for 436, either interior or exterior nor a floorplan. 435 was registered in Dallas during the 2011-2013 time frame while 436 was registered in Hampton, VA from 2012-2014.
I suspect the design of the slide out was slowing down its production resulting in the number switch between 435 and 436.
435 is a rare Series 60 Newell with a 307 gallon fuel tank and the 7" raised ceiling throughout. It appears that the first rear bath with a mid half bath was #423 and #435 was the second.
