Look just to the right or left of the steering column, under the dash shin pad......may be behind the carpeted vertical panel.

Mine is just under the dash, mounted on the bottom. Should be a grey looking box, that is a cover, remove it and the plug is under the grey cover.

That’s what I thought but the mechanic was looking for a six prong and mine has 12.

Yes there are many different configurations but there are adapters that can take you to what ever you need. Most are vintage coaches have the 12 rectangle pin plug.

Update-so after priming the system and still a no go, I bought the adapter for the computer and the mechanic was able to connect and read the responses below. The diagnosis according to him is likely that the injectors aren’t getting any current. He suggests buying a new injector harness as that’s likely the culprit. I asked him to send me the pictures of the computer system for me to post them here. Maybe you all have had this happen before? He doesn’t think all 6 injectors are bad but still
Needs to access the engine. 
If that’s the case, the access to the top of the engine will require dismantling the bedroom closet as I don’t see any access latches. I have the small closet doors in the back which I was planning on remodeling any way. If you think or this has happened to anyone here I would really appreciate your feedback or any suggestions as to what else it could be. Thanks

Thanks for getting back with us.

The internet says, bus conversion forums say, that it is likely one of two causes: air in the fuel, or bad injector harness.

If it’s me, since this whole thing started with a fuel filter change, and I am a believer in looking at the last thing you touched, I would want to ensure without any doubt that the engine was indeed primed before I pulled the bedroom floor and replaced the injector harness. Do you mind describing how the system was primed?

First thing I would do, is look at the exhaust pipe while cranking. If the engine is getting fuel, you should smell raw diesel or see white smoke out the exhaust.

Second thing, I would do is hold the emergency shutdown switch and try to crank.

Third thing, I would do is remove the injector harness connections from the DDEC, spray them with contact cleaner, and reconnect. The injector harness connections are on the left side of the DDEC as you face it.

I don’t know if ANY of that would help, but it’s easy to try before pulling the rear floor. Newell installed a hatch over the engine. Before giving the basics on removing that hatch, please tell us what is the floor plan. Rear bath? Rear closet? Can you post a pic, and we can go from there.

I agree with Richard, that generally the last thing touched is usually the suspect to start with. 

With that being said, maybe recount the history of when the no start condition occured. Was it directly after you replace fuel filters or did you do that thinking that was an issue? 

Did the mechanic verify that the ECM is seeing the SRS and TRS sensors? If the ECM does not see those sensors then it will not fire. Another possibility is that somehow the tone ring has an issue, but again the history up to the no start issue will give you a good place to start. 

I have attached the troubleshooting guide for a crank no start, that clearly gives you the path to go down to make sure that you are checking all the possibilities. 

BTW, I will be available this weekend, I can come over and see what I can figure out.

Thanks again Richard and Jeff. Well my original post was -I’ve been starting my coach for the last few weeks and I noticed the Detroit 60 struggling few minutes after start up. It’s as if it fuel would slowly cut off and eventually shut off. The filter change came afterwards. 
I have not seen any smoke and the crank shaft sensors were reading on his computer. I’ve tried priming the engine with the spray pump method. It’s possible that I maybe did something wrong . I did see a few minute bubbles coming out of the priming button when I had it pressurized but when I called Newell they said that it should still start. I will try holding the emergency button down and spraying and cleaning 
the ECM . My coach has a small closet in the back( not a walk in like most) but I really don’t want to have to go that route. Jeff thanks for your offer. I can meet you, just let
