Need a little help. I rebuilt the locking pins on the living room slide last year and it was pretty easy to get the front valance off.
now time to do the bedroom locking pins. Cant figure out how to get that front valance off, there are no bolts or screws like the front one had. Also the center roof piece slides with the slide in the roof. ( where the fan is ) Anybody/somebody has to have done this before. Any help on how to get that front valance off the bedroom slide would be greatly appreciated.

On our coach you must pull the slide in about a foot then it just lifts straight up and off.

That’s how it worked on #530. A person on each end if possible.

When you say “front valance” are you talking about the thing that holds the fan? Or the leather trim piece that is parallel to the wall?

You will find a bracket that ties the fan with the valence. Remove that bracket. Valence lifts straight up but room must be in about a foor as jack said

The leather trim piece parell to the wall. Cant figure out how to get that slide thing with the fan loose. I think I have to drop the fan to access the screw to release the bracket

Richard , Do I have to take the fan down to access the screws that hold that bracket ? there is noway to be able to reach it from the top of the slide

Thank you everyone for the help. valance lifted straight up with no bolts attached and the slide thing on the roof the bracket just sits in the wood piece of the valance. Slide pin on both sides have been rebuilt and no more red fluid leaking from the roof.
