8V92 airbox drains

Yes , my air box drain catch can looks like that . For the valve cover / engine breathers I replaced the convoluted steel tubes with rubber hoses that route upward , then down into a high tech catch can...

My airbox catch can in on the driver side & looks like the one pictured. I got only a few drops of oil out of it after 8,000 miles.
I had removed the check ball & spring from the check valves years ago based on the advice of a trusted 2 stroke mechanic.

I also run only the correct low ash 40w oil.
The engine oil level seems to have remained constant for the last 1 - 2k miles.

About 160k miles on the motor.
