I have been trying to figure out what the device is that is attached to my black tank. Its a small aluminum box with what looks to be 12v power in, and 4 leads out. These leads run to "sensors" located around the bottom of the black tank. I would think they were level sensors, except my 1983 does not have level indicator (to best of my knowledge), and they do not seem to lead any where. The aluminum box has no markings. I sure am curious to know what this thing may be.

Possibly the "odor control" system.

Second the odor control. Don't think anyone uses it

Thank you, I speculated it may be something crazy like that. I have not put the multi-meter to it yet, but guess it passes electric current through the tank in an attempt to control odor? Maybe I will put the meter to it for curiosity, but sounds like I could take it out and not miss it.

Reviving an old thread.
Anyone have a picture of the aluminum box? I may have just found one and would like to identify it!
Thanks!
