For years we lived in our coach full-time traveling from 6-20,000 miles a year. Since we once again have a sticks and bricks home, we use the Newell less often. Last year we traveled less than 3,000 miles. Primarily short trips, typically less than 400 miles to visit relatives.

Mine was about 20k miles first year with 701.. We probably use it 2 out of 4 weekends a month. Even a trip to the casino or riding the Rzr 20 miles away.. And unfortunately several trips to Miami in the last few months..
I use it more often I use it a lot for trips to OKc cool and Tulsa to see my kiddos.

We've been living in our 1982 Newell Classic full time for almost 5 years, and traveling full time the past almost 4 years. Since we purchased the coach in March of 2008 we've logged close to 54,000 miles on her with nary a hiccup.......she stands up to full time living quite well as others can attest.....no matter what year you may have these Newells are built to be used and lived in.

Ed, my wife thinks you are very romantic! We both married well! We live full time in our Newell and love it. We have put at least 10k miles on it this year. After 4 other coaches over the last 20 years I have to say I love living in this coach. If we can ever get the leaks in the slides fixed without having to lean the coach in hard rain then it would be perfect. BTW, for Christmas my wife got me a SONOS play bar for the TV (awesome sound) and LED light bar and lights for the Jeep! As others will attest, these are great coaches!

We just started full timing when we bought our Newell (we named it Waldo) on Dec 2nd. So far we have only put a little over a thousand miles on Waldo. We are looking forward to getting a chance to see this great country of ours as well as getting a chance to see our son, daughter, grandchildren, extended family, and friends more often.
Anxious to meet all who will be attending the Guru’s Rally in June!
I pray that we are as fortunate as Clarke and have “nary a hiccup” with Waldo!

Hello to All!
We are full time travelers in our 1996 38' Newell Coach #428.
We travel approximately 12-14,000 miles/yr
Having been on the road since June 2013, starting in a Semi-Truck Conversion Motorhome and then purchasing the Newell in April 2014. We have had a wonderful experience in "The Old Bus" ever since! Newell Coach arguably builds the best coach in the country, and has for years, as we can attest with our nearly twenty year old beauty! Very few minor problems have occurred as quality components are used that last for years! Often times, folks in campgrounds come up to us questioning about our bus and when we tell them it is 20 years old, disbelief abounds! Haha
Security and stability, in our travels, gives peace of mind and enjoyment for this wonderful lifestyle!

Hi Russ,
A number of us salivated over the sports car version (38 footer with a Series 60) when we saw it for sale.

Edith & i full time nine months attending racing venues and other activities. Three months are spent inside for winter repairs (it doesn't take three months to repair) while we re-activate the house. By the time February rolls around , we are anxious to move back into the NEWELL until Christmas comes again.

Yes Richard,
I was going to mention the fact that the folks at Newell suggested Coach #428 , and maybe one or two others, were probably the fastest (sports car) Newell they had ever built, but I'm not really one to brag!
Thanks, Russ
