Jimmy, the Leelanau peninsula in N Mi.has a lot to offer. Check out the Lake Leelanau rv park. The temps in the summer are excellent and the area is full of all kinds of activities, fishing, boating, golf, sleeping bear dunes, numerous wine tasting opportunities, casinos, quaint towns, etc. There are cabins available for Forrest! Not too far away is the Mackinaw bridge and Mackinaw Island. Also in the area is Beaver Island, once the only principality in America. Lots to keep busy!

Normally N. Michigan is great in the summer, we spend 4-5 mo's there every summer, when I say N. Michigan I mean the UP of the state.
