We would like to install a TV in one of the bays. The bay next to the midentry door has two holes where it looks like a TV swivel had been. Also, electrical plug next to it and cable wires on the other side of the bay. We also have a Norcold freezer in that bay. Wondering if they put the freezer in and took the tv out.
However, IF we install a TV with a swivel it appears that we would have to have the door closed. No problem, unless someone needs to exit or enter the coach. Then close the bay door with the TV, and then open the midentry door.
Also, as my husband says, "I am the driver, not the mechanic." So, what would it entail to attach a Tv, which we already have. And how would it be possible to connect it to our satellite? Please excuse our ignorance! Thanks, Susie

It could have been designed for a TV that was never installed or it could have been removed and the freezer put in. A slide out mount is available that would mount on the wall. It depends on the way the coach is wired as to how you would wire in Satellite service. The cable lead may be already hooked to the satellite feed in which case you would need another DirecTV or Dish box to mount in the bay.

You can put a tv box in the bay or just "T" into the satellite feed. I tied mine into the bedroom tv. Without a dedicated box for the bay I have to watch what is on the bedroom tv. Not difficult to do. Just takes some time to figure out where to run the coax. Newell can run a coax to a bay in about 45 minutes because they know where to run it. TV slide out mounts are readily available. Here is just one style.

Thanks, Michael. Another question: The bay where the bracket seemed to have been, adjacent to the Norcol refrigerator/freezer is behind the door when the door is open. So, it seems that the door would need to remain closed while that bay door was open. It is the kind that lifts up. Question is whether or not we should still put the TV in there or in a different compartment?

That is not an optimal situation. I would tend to want it in a bay that allows access to the coach door all the time.

yea, with the airdoor, it is just one "whoose" away from crunching the tv.

That may explain why the bracket was removed!
