I drive quite a bit at night but usually find a truck stop or rest area around 3am or so. Hate to arrive at rv parks at night. Also night driving in deer & elk or open range country can be a bit rough on your nerves.

I do not drive the MH at night. Always try to arrive at park around 3:00 to 4:00. Will drive car at night if I have too.

I don't mind driving at night when I know where I will land...Even if that means Wal-mart or Cracker Barrel. I re-did my headlights and now have plenty of light, but the biggest annoyance is the reflection in the drivers mirror. The reflections are so bad, I have trouble seeing the mirrors. Also, the back-up cam that I have is T E R R I B L E at night. The IR LEDS that it uses cloud up the sensor so that all I really can see is a white cloud.

Bill is your camera mounted behind the plexiglass? If so it won't work. I mounted mine on the plexiglass piece and it works better. Still not good enough for me to drive at night unless it's an emergency. Like a rougarou chasing me...............

Yes,
A lot, especially when we were on a hot shot to get across the country. However, with a lot more discretionary time on my hands in the near future, that habit may change.

Forest, I removed the plexi, but the cam still does not work well. Maybe time for a new cam....one with true infrared, and maybe a laser too!

Yes I do some night driving, and If the headlights were better I'd do more of it. But most of the time when we are traveling I try to shut down around 10PM at Wal Mart or somewhere. We only have so much time for each trip because Jeff still has to work and we only have so much vacation! :-)
