The teacher becomes the student
#1

At the rally Larry's generator had been overheating. So a few of us walked over to look at it. I immediately saw the problem since my old '93 had the same issue.Big Grin Where the filler neck is soldered to the tank was leaking. So (with much supervision) Larry cleaned it up and JB welded it.
This morning while doing my pre-trip checks I noticed mine was starting to leak! So the teacher becomes the student and my homework will be to repair mine once we get to Cochrane for a week.
So like John Clarke said when you do something look at everything "within 3 feet".

Sorry to hear you have such a large repair ahead of you Forest and wish I could be there along with a half dozen other Guru's to help .. You may need to get Richard to drive up if the JB Weld doesn't cure after he showed us all his brazing skills at his 4 hour seminar ....

Agree that John Clark's 3 foot rule is now part of my montra as I'm sure so many others have embraced this simple brilliance as well.

Someone said to me that of the 30 or so participant coaches that all would be welcome neighbors....
