I attended FMCA Rally and heard about fire suppression set up for engine compartment. Has anyone installed this system or do you have an opinion regarding its usefulness.

Many Newells have a fire suppression system in the generator compartment but only a fire extinguisher hanging in the engine compartment.

Yes, I have installed one in my engine compartment. Never deployed thankfully!
The question that I have is how to replace the canisters when they eventually leak out.
Upon reflection, I now feel that it is too complicated for the benefit.
