The board monitors the incoming electricity and causes the relay to close if no errors are detected. I believe you said earlier in this thread that no errors were showing on the monitor screen. So we know that the circuit board monitoring isn't shutting off the power. The board has relays the may fail along with the coil in the big relay. One check I can think of would be to measure the leads going to the coil to see if they have voltage, if they do then then the coil is probably bad in the big relay. If no voltage is detected on the leads then something has failed on the control board.

I recently installed the same brand of EMS in my 93 coach and just used a sharp utility knife to remove the insulation on the big wires. By working slowly and bending the wires away from the cut as I used the knife I was able to remove the insulation and not detect any nicks in the wire strands.
