Im working through a few air system problems on my coach (obvious from my many posts, I’m sure) Is the 120v compressor only controlled from the HWH controller in auto level mode? It suddenly stopped working and I’m trying to figure out where to start trouble shooting. The compressor works fine when plugged into an uncontrolled ( by HWH or regulator or whatever) outlet.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
PS , I looked through my manuals and was unable to find any kind of a schematic. Is that something that is normally supplied?

Mine is a gast compressor and its wired right into the generator. Probably shouldn't be but that's how it was when i got it. That said it only runs when the generator is on.

Ok, let’s put all your air leak issues in ONE thread.
There is a switch, probably at the microwave labeled 120 compressor.
do not leave the coach in autolevel mode until you get the leak and ride height sorted out.
Carl, that is not the way the compressor is supposed to be wired. It should have an independent power source that is on the inverter circuit.

Gregg,
On our rig #586, in Curbside 1st bay is the controller for the 120v compressor. It is a well pump type switch operated by 12vdc (switch in galley) that controls the 120vac to operate the pump. The HWH box nearby controls the 120v compressor when leveling.
There is a thread somewhere on the forum Richard explains a go-around for eliminating the problematic water drain in this bay. I bought all the parts but haven't replaced them yet. I may get a Round-Tuit for my birthday next year.

I didn't think it should be that way. Ill redo it in the spring though, not much happens outside when its 0.
