Latches and Door Handle
#11

Ahh!

Here's a great deal: Have not tried them, but will be ordering them shortly. My door handles are working OK, but do show some evidence of being a bit bent on one side...best to have a spare!

I am confirming with seller that it includes a RIGHT and a LEFT hand one.

If it is bent or cocked, one of the pivot legs is broken. Fix right away! If the other pivot leg fails, it is difficult to open the door. When you remove the door facade, look for three or four rivets that hold an access panel on the interior side of the lock

So just installed the new OUTSIDE door handle. A bit of a P.I.T.A. due to the blown in foam insulation, but I manage to get at the 7/16" nuts and pull out the old one. Yes, it was broken exactly as Richard knew it would be. The top one (inside) was NOT broken.

Be aware that BOTH Inside and Outside handles are RIGHT HAND door handles from the Lincoln/Ford Family
Part # eovb 5422468-aa
