Any recommendations on how to sanitize our fresh water holding tank and how often should it be done?

There is a number of articles and videos on the procedure; most use bleach.
There are some other non-bleach sanitizers out there.
Google is your friend.

As to the “when” question, you’ll get nothing but controversy, here. Even Newell will ask you “Why? You shouldn’t t have to.”

I think some people are more concerned, paranoid as some would call it, about microorganisms that others. But, in my research among the higher end coach crowd, no one worries about it at all and rely upon the good inline filters to trap what a Camco pre-filter and soft-water tank do not.

It can’t hurt, but may just have minimal returns.
