Gang,

I was looking in one of my basement bays and found a place where rusty water had been leaking. This is pretty new and although dry when I looked at it...its clear that it had been leaking something. My coach has Valid slides so it may be configured differently from the HWH slides a lot of you have.

The rusty spot is right below a carpet covered cylinder mounted on the ceiling of basement bay. It is right below the slide mechanism. I included a shot what the stuff in the cylinder.

I am wondering...

1. What is that mechanical stuff in the cylinder?
2. Where is the leak likely to be?
3. What do I do about it?
