Stuck in the mud
#11

Sigh.............you AND Jr.

One of the things I remember from my lurking on the bus conversion forum is to NEVER rock the coach like we do with a stuck car. Given the weight of the drive wheels, you can wallow down to the frame in a second.

I stuck mine once, and used a reverse logic process to unstick it. When the diff lock and unweighting the tag didn't work, I actually aired up the tag as much as possible and slipped some carpet under the leading edge of the drive tires. Then I let the air out of the tag and pulled out. Took a while for the sphincter valve to release the seat cover though.

My coach does not have a diff lock.. I tried the same thing.. But was careful never to get it down to the frame.. The stacker was in pretty deep too loaded to 25k so it wasn't any help.. Lol anyway. Have blue sky insurance with towing. 125$ per year so the haul out was free.
