Hello Gurus
I have a 2012 Newell Coach and the Carefree awning control panel no longer works near the entry way of the coach.  Up until today there was a green light on ( sometimes in blinked ) above the power switch and now it appears the control isn't getting power and i can't manipulate the awnings. 

I checked the 110Volt breakers in the electronics baby and the 2B breaker for the awning is in the correct position and not tripped. I reset it just to check and still no power to the controller.  Does anyone have any incite about this? 

Note: I also removed the control panel and disconnect the telephone style connector on the box and reinstalled.  Still no power to the box.  

Any information or incite would be greatly appreciate.

The status light on the controller no longer illuminates.

Mine was doing the same thing. The indicator light would go in and out and then finally just quit. It was in the wiring up at the awning. It would short out when it was getting wet is only thing I could figure out. I had Newell rewire it all and has worked perfect.

The control  box was velcroed to the wall, no screws were used.   How many patio awnings do you have?
