In the case of the tachometer signal generator the problem is with the right angle drive coming off the engine housing that the generator attaches to. I have sourced a new one, and will be ordering it soon. The signal generator works fine.
In the case of the speedometer the problem is a broken drive tang....the 1.25" long part that connects the drive to the transmission. I have also finally sourced that part and should have it soon. The speedo signal generator works fine.
