We are heading out next Friday yahoo!! We are wondering if anyone had recommendations for campgrounds on coast thanx !!!

If you want to see Savannah, and I recommend you do, then
http://www.redgatecampground.com/ is a great place to stay. We have a kid in school in Savannah and we always use this campground. If you are into beer, then hit the Distillery while you are there.

I agree with Richard, nice and convenient place. The State Park there is also nice if you like lots of trees though there are limited spots I would take a large coach.
I also like the campground on Jeckyll Island. Well actually not so much the campground as the island itself. Driftwood Beach is mystical for me.
