I've had Dishtv for years & was always annoyed I could not control my audio system from the Dishtv remote. I've looked at the Logitech piece & didn't like it. Anyway a friend just up graded his dish box & a learning remote is included. The installer set it up for his audio system.
I borrowed his remote & it worked on my older vip622 DVR.
