Adrian,
Keep in mind when you wire those up, that Newell used a different setup with stop light/run light on one circuit and turn signals on another. You will need to noodle through how to wire the combo lights you ordered.

Don't forget that federal, and most state, law requires 2 rear red reflectors located between 15-72" above the ground. If the tail or stop lights incorporate reflectors you are good to go. The original taillight assembly had 5 lights without reflectors and one large red reflector per taillight assembly.

Thanks Michael, that’s a good point. I will need to see if mine have refectors built in the new fixtures. If not I think I have some new reflectors left over from another project I can add to appease the regs. Wonder if that also applies to trailers, I do not think my trailer has any reflectors on it, will have to check that as well, 99 percent of the time I am towing my trailer anyways.

Any trailer over 6' long has the same requirement. Minimum of two red reflectors on the rear.

So I thought I already posted this but I think it did not go through due to some spotty internet after the hurricane. Finally got my tail lights put together and mounted.
Here are some pics along the way and final shots:
Here is a short video that shows the turn signals:

They came out nice, they are super bright.

Converting traditional lighting to
led lighting is an excellent choice for energy savings, lower maintenance costs, and enhanced brightness. Here’s how you can approach LED conversions:
Key Benefits of Switching to LED Lighting:
- Energy Efficiency: LEDs use up to 75% less energy compared to incandescent and fluorescent lights, reducing electricity bills significantly.
- Longer Lifespan: LED lights can last up to 50,000 hours, far surpassing traditional bulbs, meaning fewer replacements and less maintenance.
- Environmental Impact: LED lights emit less heat and have a smaller carbon footprint, aligning with eco-friendly practices.
- Better Light Quality: LEDs provide high-quality, directional
lighting with options for various color temperatures and brightness levels, enhancing visibility and ambiance.
Steps to Convert to LED:
- Evaluate Existing Fixtures: Determine if your fixtures need retrofitting or if they are compatible with LED bulbs as is.
- Choose the Right LED Products: Look for LED bulbs or fixtures that match your lighting needs—whether for brightness, color temperature, or purpose.
- Consider Controls and Compatibility: LED lights work well with dimmers and smart controls, so ensure your setup supports these for optimal performance.
- Professional Installation (if needed): In commercial or complex settings, hiring a professional for installation ensures safe and optimal placement.
Switching to LED lighting offers substantial benefits, making it a smart choice for both residential and commercial applications.
