Tuga, as near as we can tell, Steve's coach was the first one with a slide. I haven't seen one older with a slide and the factory 'thought' it was the first.
It appears that the new dash did work it's way into the production line in 1996. The ones I have seen made in early 1996, number 392 to at least 420 had the old style dash.
