Hey Marc, what year is 1231 and why wouldn't Newell work on it?

1231 is a 2008 with flood water damage and a Salvage Title. Last bid we saw on it was about $185,000 but they were saying that it needed about $415,000 worth of work.

2008 it had a salvage flood title and there were numerous Newell owners who were interested in it and Newell had not gone through it so it was impossible for them to tell what was wrong. My opinion is because the most logical buyer would be a current owner and everyone wanted to bring it to the factory for repair they were concerned one of the owners may have a can of worms and didn't want to be a bad guy in the deal,

Thanks for the links Michael, it was an interesting read and something I never thought about. I guess even a Newell can't escape bad happenings can it.
