I hated the countertop coffee maker that I used to have. I always spilled water on the counter when trying to fill the blasted thing. Also, the coffee it made was marginal at best.
Here is my new Brewmaster plumbed-in coffee maker. The same one they are putting in new coaches. It has a water line running to the filtered water under the sink. No more spilled water.
Newell made the box and installed it. The only holes were to run power (inverted circuit) and water.
It only pulls power when it is actually brewing. The carafe keeps the coffee hot for quite a while.
