Seems like I’m still having charging troubles. Could I just get a shorter belt and bypass the A/C compressor?? Providing more belt contact on the pulley??

Increasing the angle of wrap would increase the horse power transmitted, i wonder if the belts are glazed from slipping , belt dressing or new belts ?

Isn’t that why an alternator has a regulator?? I definitely think I’ll start with a new belt, and see if I can stuff up the pulleys

The regulator controls the output voltage, so you do not over charge your batteries. Pulleys can also wear and let the belt touch the bottom of the pulley not allowing the sides of the belt to get pulled into the V tight enough, increasing belt tension increases hp transmitted, but too much takes out bearings, I learned that the hard way
