Sounds simple enough but it is a pain in the butt to replace some of these old hoses. Particularly the ones going to the air compressor head. Mine were hardened. Lower radiator hose was bulging and soft and finally the hot start engine heater hoses were original and had scars from road debris. Took me a while to cross reference the new part numbers for those. 24 gallons of coolant removed as of yesterday. Today it is over 115º so I can only do a tiny bit of work which was to remove the bottom hoses and rinse out what I could of the radiator. Inside doesn't look too bad. Not going for a full recon with this just making it reliable from a blown hose on the road. I'll crawl back inside the engine if it cools down after dinner. This job requires multiple showers a day from dripping coolant in my hair to dirt on my arms. I am hoping to reinstall the double lower hose as one assembly. It was difficult to remove it and the new hoses are stiffer. Can't imagine doing this job laying on my back. Fuhgettabouttit.
