I pulled the salon slide windows out and will be cleaning them up and reinstalling soon. 
Any tips on what to watch for when reinstalling the windows?  What ‘caulk’ do I use?  I think the old sealant was Urethane like that used on car windows now - that is what I was planning to use again unless there are better options.  I can buy the Urethane in a roll or use the squeezy-tube stuff but it makes a bigger mess.  Any ideas are welcome. I will call Newell and get their input also.

I talked to Newell and they indicated that they use a ‘Butyl’ sealant on the windows - comes in a roll. This is what I had used previously on windshields and is pretty easy to use. Newell said they don’t use silicon (maybe Sikaflex if needed) because paint does not stick to it well.

I used to install sunroofs in a previous life a few decades ago. To me windows are just vertical sunroofs. Butyl was what we used then and was pretty leak proof.
Start at the bottom middle of the window and go around from there. When you tighten the screws do them a little at a time and crisscross the pattern.
When we removed and reinstalled one, we tapped on the screw holes of the frame to tighten them up a little before installation.

Thank you Hank and Steve! Great tip on starting at the bottom (to keep a solid seal at the top where the water comes in) Hank! I’ll check out the website but boats sink and Newells rarely ever do! Lol

I used butyl whem replacing the rear view camera. It originally had a putty seal.I don't know about future removal. Perhaps piano wire ?

Guy, use a windshield removal tool. $5 at HF!

I frequent Harbor Freight, but never saw this item. Having basement air, removing the rear camera is the only way  I have to gain access to the rear a/c evaporator coil for cleaning.
