I had a similar problem with the front SCS unit tripping the #1 breaker. Had on my list of things to do was to swap out the compressor run capacitors (they where the originals)

When I opened the unit (after unplugging shore power) to change the caps I found the neutral, white wire, on the #1 compressor terminal block loose. Tightened the terminal and changed out the caps. Have run the hvac unit perhaps an hour or so with no issues. Most likely, the loose wire was my main problem. However, changing the caps out is some added piece of mind.
