Made it to Knoxville and parked the coach at my uncle's place. He is a diesel "guru" from his 40+ years around truck diesels and marine application diesels. I had him take a look and within about 10 seconds he determined the problem is the stop solenoid. The wiring to the solenoid is burnt up so it's likely a short with either the wiring harness or the solenoid itself. When we manually activated the solenoid by pushing in on the "throttle arm" the generator started and ran just fine.
I plan to make an appointment with Russell coach as recommended by Ron to get the wiring and solenoid checked and replaced as needed.
