I'm still at Newell. One of the things I wanted checked was the AC.
One unit fan ran but did not cool and one would freeze up after about 2/3
Hours, the bedroom unit worked great
They found the unit that was freezing up low on freon, easy fix. On
The remaining unit testing made them think it had a bad compressor.
Of course it was the bottom unit in the stack
They removed the upper AC and pulled out the bottom AC onto a cart.
That units compressor had been changed sometime in its pass life
The tech got his meter and checked voltage
GUESS what?
The compressor was wired wrong!!!!
The compressor had not ran since it was replaced
Guess I've got a new unit LOL
Moral.....Always take a photo BEFORE you start unhooking things
