Understanding your air system
#21

It opens to either send air into or out of the airbag (technically into or out of an air tank that feeds each airbag). Each six pack has two solenoids for travel mode, two for down leveling and two for up leveling. The travel solenoids work in conjunction with the height control valves to keep the coach level while traveling down the road. The Up and Down solenoids feed air to or release air from the air tanks that feed the airbags when leveling the coach either manually or using the automatic level system when parked. When the coach is shut down and the autolevel mode turned off, power to all the solenoids is turned off so the air bags are isolated. Turning on level mode will allow each airbag to be inflated or deflated as needed to level the coach and takes the height control valves out of the equation. In travel mode, the front airbags are tied together so the frames does not twist as the right rear and left rear airbags individually inflate or deflate to keep the coach level side to side with the surface of the road. The front travel height value opens and closes to help level the coach front to back while the two rear height control valves level the coach side to side.
