Micro-Air Thermostat -

Just replaced my Coleman RVcomfort.ZC thermostat with the new Micro-Air EasyTouch RV Thermostat. It is Bluetooth and Wi-Fi compatible and programmable. Very easy to install and works like a charm. Highly recommend the upgrade!

Terry,
How manu ac units are you controlling and are you also controlling cabin heat with this tstat?

It is a direct replacement for the Coleman RVComfort.ZC and handles all four of my a/c’s, just as the original did. Only now I don’t have to open a little door and stretch around the counter and sofa to reach it.

Sounds interesting, has anyone added a thermostat to the older two unit ceiling mounted ac in a classic coach? And would it be possible to add the 3 separate gas and 5 separate electric furnace to the Wi-Fi as well? Thanks in advance.

Terry,
Just curious for a long term follow-up on how the Microair has performed.
And if any other gurus have installed one?
I am about to bite the bullet and replace my tstats. The tstats work, but they have such a narrow deadband on the temperature that it results in short cycling of the units. I have played with time delays in all sorts of configurations to alleviate this, but the not really addressing the root cause. The microair has adjustable deadband.

I had 2 of them on different coaches. they worked great. The WiFi and Bluetooth worked good too. I miss having them but won’t integrate with silverleaf now.

I have it on my single PenguinII roof air. Love that I can start/stop and watch the inside temps of the coach from anywhere. (We do have an onboard cellular wifi router)

Interested in hearing what you do as the new thermostats I bought from Waltech are what I would call not ready for primetime. I knew that it was a new product line they launched and not upset, but I need a more stable setup. Getting ready to go back to my old analog thermostats soon if nobody comes up with a great work around for something on these SCS units.

I get that it will control four roof airs, but never saw an answer as to whether it also controls AquaHot heat.

Richard - I have been very pleased with the system. The scheduling system is a little problematic as I haven’t figured out how to schedule for all four a/c’s but it isn’t a big deal. Would continue to recommend.
