Hi, all. Newbie to Newell’s here.
A little background, we are fairly experienced RVers. We’ve owned a travel trailer, two fifth wheels, and a Bluebird Wanderlodge.
Looking to eventually get back to a MH but I got tired of not having any factory support from Bluebird. I do most things myself, but farm out what I can’t handle.
Coming from the ‘Bird, my initial interest is in a non slide unit, preferably with a Series 60. Look forward to learning and eventually contributing.

Welcome , Warren!! I came close to buying a BB before I bought my first Newell. They are solid.. I think you will find a Newell to be a great next MH.

Warren, welcome to our forum! Michael Day is our resident expert on years and options. I respect your requirements, a S60 with no slides. I personally prefer the classic style, so I'm in the process of putting a Cummins ISM in my 1986. Gives me an inline six four stroke with plenty of power. Should be ready to hit the road in a couple of weeks, looking forward to seeing an improvement in fuel mileage over the DD 8V92 V8 two stroke.

Welcome Warren. Most Newells from mid-1994 through early 1997 have the Series 60 and no slides. Only a handful of Newells built after #447, a 1997, had no slides. I believe #363 was the first Series 60 Newell (a 1994) but there were still some 8V92 Newells made with #376 likely being the last (a 1995). All but one Newell built after 1989 were the Series 2000 model Newell (until well into the 2005 model year). #317, a 1993, was the only Classic built after 1989.
Happy hunting.
