I also have a Polaris RZR which is great for the Imperial Sand Dunes near Yuma. Perhaps a good place in the winter for a rally?

Look forward to meeting and riding with you all. I usually stay at the Lazy Day in Tuscon and will get there about the 15th Jan for a month. Where do you stay in Yuma? Is it safe there? My wife doses not like to stay to close to Mexico.

Do you guys wear helmets when riding your RZRs?
We're thinking of buying a couple but I don't like anything heavy and the restricted vision.
What about a half-helmet? Would that give me enough protection for easy riding? Not looking to race, just enjoy riding.

Accidents happen when easy riding, fast riding and all out racing.
I always wear a helmet. A good off road type give plenty of vision and you can wear goggles with quick release strap. You can also wire for communication, blue tooth for phone and music. Once you get use to it you want ride with out it. Look for a good light weight motorcycle off road helmet.

Since the RZR has an overhead roll bar and windshield, I do not wear a helmet or goggles while on a paved street, but helmets and goggle are a must if riding the dunes or rough terrain.
