Free microphor toilet - Hotrodhornet - 01-28-2015

I have the bone colored microphor toilet that I removed from my coach available for free if any wants to pick it up in San Antonio.
It did leak and the flush timing was off but cosmetically it is in good shape. Pm for phone #
Thanks, paul

Is it the 12V electric or air operated?

What did you replace it with. I'm considering replacing mine.

I replaced it with a dometic 310. My tank is directly under the toilet so it was an easy swap.
I had to enlarge to hole in the floor and the tank.
I absolutely love it!!! Uses almost no water and no air pressue to worry about when dry camping.

Thanks Paul, I'm considering doing the same. Ours is a 94 also but although mine is a 45', I believe mine is located over the waste tank as well. I've had too many times that I wanted to use it and had to start the engine to pump the air. Thanks for the post and info.

Your welcome, I would not hesitate to change it. If and when the toilet malfunctions you can slip a new one in in place in about 10 minutes. The hardest part of the replacement was enlarging the hole.
I drilled a 4" hole in another piece of 3/4" plywood and screwed it to the floor as a guide. I also needed to offset the hole a little as it was coming close to another pipe going into the waste tank.

We have the electric Microphor in ours.

How does the electric toilet work? Like a macerator? If it was 12 volt I would not have a problem with that. I just did not like the idea of needing air pressure to flush

The water in and flapper are controlled electrically. When you flush the flapper opens & fresh water in starts the cycle. Then the flapper closes & fresh water in continues to fill bowl to pre-set level. Microphor's web site should have details available. I have had to replace the timing cam once, other than that it works pretty good. Once in a while timing hangs up & it takes a second lever push to complete cycle.
