I thought this study was interesting and applicable to motorcoaches.

Steve, a great article. I usually set my cruise at 62. We have got to remember that stopping these heavy coaches takes a long time in case of emergency. Most of us are retired, so what is the hurry. Stop and smell the roses. I like about 300 miles in a day.

I've been driving 60 since we left Louisiana on Friday. Used to drive 62-64 but since it was raining I decided to slow down. At the end of the day driving 60 won't matter much when you limit yourself to 250-300 miles.
My mileage has been 7.5 on the Detroit Driver and 8.5 on VMSPC, (I forgot to clear the DD before I left). It dropped a bit once we hit the hills in west Texas but I'm still doing 7.2 and 8.0
