Fulltiming - 06-28-2014
This afternoon, everyone has been meeting in the street saying their goodbyes. A bitter sweet time. Always so great to see friends but after having spent so much time together, it will seem strange to not be around them. A couple of us are heading to Camp Newell tomorrow for maintenance on our coaches so we will have an opportunity to potential see more old friends and meet some new ones.
Thanks to everyone who attended this years rally. We did miss several that were not able to make it, especially Tom and Darlene.

Here is our thoughts on next rally: We plan to travel up the California coast through Oregon and Washington. So anywhere up there would be good for us. We'll probably leave Louisiana in late Feb./early March and return in late Oct./early Nov. So anywhere along that route would be good. But we don't want to have to back track or change our plans. We've been trying to do that trip the last 2 years.
Buckhorn would be good in the early spring or late fall. Somewhere in Oregon or Washington also if held in the summer months.

Amado south of Tucson on I-19 would be good in Jan-Mar. Wine Country RV Park in Paso Robles, CA is good place for west coast summer rally.

Lake Tahoe! It's a natural! RZR riding opportunities, Jeeping, golf courses galore, boating, kayaking, rafting, hiking, bicycling, world class beaches if you just want to sit and enjoy the view of the lake. Casinos and entertainment at Stateline, and 100's of great dining opportunities. Tons of historical sites to visit. Elevation 6,300'.....temps in June 60-70. Low humidity.

Buckhorn sounds great, but not in late June. I agree with Forest, Buckhorn in early spring or late fall would be good. Moving the dates of the next rally would open up many more destinations and solve some of the summer travel conflicts. When ever & where ever you decide to have it we will be there providing no conflicts.
Jimmy,
I have stayed at Tiger Run. It is an ownership park. It is nice. Cool location during summer months.

if we dont have it in the summer, then we eliminate the guys with families that are still in school. and we have a handful of them. so i will stick with summer dates. that said, there is no reason we couldnt do a more informal spring or fall one in addition and do the one that is planned out like the one that was just held in the summer.

Hacienda in las cruces or Guadalupe in Kerrville would be better for a rally than buckhorn and much cheaper..
Clint and Fran , sorry to miss seeing you off..
