John do you have pictures of the area your talking about? The area around my slide was re-riveted at Newell and they used 3/16 rivets all around the bedroom slide and they did not hold up because they did not fix the original problem which was broken off rivets underneath the trim pieces between salon and bedroom slide without those being replaced the flex of the coach caused upper and lower skin around the rear slide to laminate from the frame surrounding the slide and water leaks in. Riveting around the slide will not fix the problem permanently till the upper and lower skin is re-riveted between the slides and aft of the rear slide.
John if you have water intrusion then its because there is no where for the water to escape from the bottom of the rear slide and it will run into the bedroom and also into the shore power cord area, the only way to fix this is to pull the slide into the coach remove the slide seal and the slide seal track then with a wire wheel remove all the rust from under the seal track and the track itself then bond it to the frame with 3m 5200. I also used a die grinder with a aluminum bit and cut slots on the front and rear area of the slide so the water can drain out. No more leaks!
